Clinton Foundation's A Decade Of Differences at The Hollywood Ball

Le week-end dernier, grâce à mon Directeur de stage, fan de Lady Gaga, qui m'a donné l'info, nous sommes allés voir un énorme concert au Hollywood Bowl.

Il s'agissait d'une soirée visant à remercier la Fondation Clinton pour tous ses engagements, et cela depuis le début de son existence, il y a déjà 10 ans.

Voici quelques projets réalisés :

"Building on a lifetime of public service, President Bill Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to alleviate poverty, improve global health, strengthen economies, and protect the environment, by fostering partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and private citizens — leveraging their expertise, resources, and passions — to turn good intentions into measurable results."

Le Président Clinton était bien sûr présent, mais chose plus rare, il était accompagné d'Hillary :)

Là je dois avouer, qu'en fanatique que je suis de la famille, mon meilleur moment de la soirée fut le discours de Bill ;) On ne se refait pas ^^

Mais le concert était aussi génial !

Stevie Wonder (" - Ouah c'est Steeeevieeee Wonder. - Mais non t'es con ca fait au moins 10 ans qu'il a passé l'arme à gauche. - Pllllllleeeeeaaaasssseeee welcome Stevie Wonder. - Ah ben il a peut-être ressuscité, oh et puis on n'est pas à quelques mois près hein! ".


Après nous avons eu droit à Kenny Chesney (pas du tout à mon goût), K'Naan...

Bon au départ ce n'est pas trop mon truc, mais il faut avoir que sur scène, c'est vraiment à voir !

Et enfin, of course U2 ! Le moment qui m'a particulièrement marqué fut la dédicace de "Sunday Bloody Sunday" de Bono à Bill Clinton pour son intervention dans le processus de paix irlandais. Grand moment :
